A gentle Par 5 to start your round with a slight dogleg from left to right. Out of bounds all along the right side but remember virtually the whole of Ireland is to the left side of this hole.

A long Par 4 with a straightforward tee shot. At the end of the 390 yard fairway the hole rises steeply some 35 feet to an elevated green. The second shot can be intimidating with danger to both sides of hill up to the green.

A short Par 4 with an elevated tee shot over a quarry. A risk/reward hole that can be driven in the right wind conditions. A deep revetted bunker sitting across the fairway some 15 yards short of the green adds to the risk.

A mid-length Par 3 guarded on 3 sides by more of James Braid’s bunkers. With the quarry over the back of the green a precise tee shot is required to have much hope of making your par.

A long dog-leg Par 4. A very good tee shot is needed to hold this fairway and give you an opportunity to make the green in two.

The reverse of the 5th hole but slightly longer and with a fairway sloping from left to right. A tee shot straight up the middle can readily finish in the links rough to the right and a blind second shot to a green guarded by a deep bunker left and that quarry again to the right.

A short Par 4 that is driveable for the big hitters again depending on the wind. However, this will be a totally blind tee shot and if the ball does not finish in the vicinity of the green you may not find it.

A Par 3 with a semi-blind tee shot to an elevated green guarded by two deep bunkers at the front and gorse over the back.

This Par 4 will bring you back to the Clubhouse. A good tee shot is needed to find this fairway and hopefully leave a relative short iron to a very well protected green. Only a precise second shot will have a chance of staying on the green.

The signature hole on the course and widely regarded as one of the most difficult Par 4s in Ireland. With gorse and out of bounds all along the left, subtle bunkering on the right and a small pulpit green sitting some 30 feet above the level of the fairway guarded by gorse, whitethorn and links rough you start to get the picture. Get a par here and you can call yourself a golfer.

The shortest hole on the course but don’t be fooled by this. The green is cut into the hillside and can prove difficult to hold.

A superb golf hole. An elevated tee shot down into the valley followed by a long second shot to an elevated green bring you back up to the same level as the Tee Box now some 440 yards behind you.

Flyover Video

Another difficult Par 4 requiring both length and accuracy from the tee. The well guarded green can be hard to hold especially in summer conditions.

A flat Par 3 for a change. The tee shot is semi-blind due to a bunker across the front of the green although 20 yards short of it.

Flyover Video

A very picturesque hole and one of Fred Daly’s favourite holes in Ireland. There are lots of options how to play this hole dictated by the wind conditions.

Another splendid Par 3 with a semi-blind tee shot to another of our elevated greens. This green slopes severely from top to bottom to add to the challenge.

Flyover Video

A cracking Par 4 with out of bounds all along the left. Finding the fairway is a must to give yourself the opportunity of reaching the green with your second shot.

Now you can relax with a Par 5 to finish. Miss all the bunkers and give yourself an opportunity to finish with a birdie and go home happy.
